Cloudy day for most of the day. I was shooting at turn 1-3 in the morning hoping to see some cars would track out farther. Everybody was going easy in the morning because the track was still wet. Hopefully they keep that area open next time in July.
The start/finish line is hard to get any consistency. It looks cool when the car is coming at a certain line, but I think there's only 10 usable photos out of the first 100 that I went through. I did not waste any more time going through it. Let me know if you really want this shot, I may or may not have it, but I skipped this turn after the first 300 photos at this location. I have probably 600 or so that I did not look through. There was a shot of three cars wide going through here at the same time, it came out blurry, bummer.
Corkscrew entry panning shot always looks nice.
Worked on getting cork screw exit composition. Took a few steps every ten shots to check composition. Learned the consistent way to get this shot. A full sun (left) and partly cloudy comparison below.
